On the road again! Working Electric Disco Stars (EDS) through Try-On Entertainment. I love it. These are some of the best people I have ever worked with. Your party is not complete without this team. Lol. Seriously awesome. Anyway, we're on our way to the next gig for the evening out in Long Island. Little bit of a drive, but this one is supposed to be double the size of the last so we are all pretty stoked. We'll see if it actually is. I'll report back when I find out.
After being really down last week and having the dinner conversation that I spoke of in an earlier blog, I am on my way to pursuing everything I want while giving everything I have. I've spoken to the military and they are currently working on getting me some weapons grade C4. LOL! I'm really excited for this new outlook I have for this life I want. It has been a decent amount of time since I have felt so focused and ready to jump at every oppotunity.
Today I worked my voice for 45 minutes before leaving to get to the first gig. I started by doing the warmup section of the voice cd and then kept going into some of the more challenging exercises. I have been told that I go flat on specific parts of the scales when going up and down. I tried correcting it today by thinking of singing higher to the point I'm almost sharp and it worked. I was relieved when I was able to fix it so easily. I now have to continue practicing this way so I build the muscle memory. I then worked on "The Lazy Song" again for a bit trying to retain the lyrics. It's getting better, I just need to get the sheet music so I can make sure the notes are correct. For those who may wish to join, I am going to try and get some material together and perform at the concert for Japan. Be on the lookout for that. I will also be singing tomorrow at the BDC Showcase for Kurt Robinson's group. Praying for a good show.
Well we are arriving at the next location for EDS so I'll let you go. Much love. See you soon.
